Ödemiş is its own small town, but the real reason to go is a few kilometers away, in Birgi. That UNESCO-listed village is why most people make the trip this far, spending a day wandering stone houses before heading back. The local köfte is its own separate matter — don't leave without trying it. Wrong address if you want fast entertainment, right one if you want to fall for a region slowly.
