Çeşme has monetized its own name every summer — in July and August the traffic is traffic, and the prices are prices. Off-season it's a completely different place: still coastal, still windy, but half the crowd has gone home. Landing here on some random day actually makes sense. Show up in high season and come prepared — the bill doubles, parking becomes a personal struggle — and you'll still love it for being this close to the water.
